Discord Website Testing Using Blackbox Testing and Selenium Manual and Automation Testing

Isaac Yeremia Nugroho, Ryan Putranda Kristianto · 2024

This research focuses on testing the Discord website. The testing method used includes two main approaches, namely blackbox testing and the use of Selenium for manual and automatic based testing. The purpose of this research is to explore aspects of application functionality, performance and reliability. In blackbox testing, we thoroughly examine the user interface. Meanwhile, using Selenium allowed us to automate much of the testing process to increase efficiency and identify issues that might have been missed in manual testing. The results of this research provide a comprehensive picture of the quality of Discord websites for the website platform, highlighting areas that are successful and those that need improvement. It is hoped that these findings will provide an in-depth view of the Discord website's readiness to meet user needs, as well as provide recommendations for improvements to improve performance, reliability and overall user experience.
