The adoption of electric voting machines (EVMs) has revolutionized the electoral process by providing a streamlined and efficient method for voters to select their representatives. Unlike traditional paper-based ballot systems, EVMs offer simplicity, accuracy, and reliability. In this study, we focus on designing and implementing a real-time voting system specifically tailored for campus elections using microcontrollers and assembly language software. Voting is now done using a straightforward gadget rather than traditional ballot sheets. Additionally, the ballot system performed poorly in huge populations, but EVMs were successful and dependable. This research work outlines the creation of a real-time voting system for campus-based elections using the Microcontroller and assembly language software. On simple-to-use, real-time operational gadget with a low error rate. The outcome can be determined soon once the votes are cast by simply pressing the result button.
