Research on the Application of Virtual Reality Interventions in Medicine

Virtual Reality (VR) has been increasingly applied in mental and psychotic disorder treatment, physical pain therapy, and training and learning. This article conducted a literature review on studies that comprehended the application of VR interventions in the three areas and listed a few examples of how VR is implemented in each of these areas. Then, the article discussed the advantages and limits of VR compared to traditional interventions. Specifically, this paper analyzes the current research status of VR in the treatment of mental and mental disorders, the treatment of physical pain, and training and learning. In the treatment of mental and mental disorders, differences between physical pain treatment and traditional interventions are discussed. The advantages of VR therapy compared with traditional methods are summarized, while the limitations of VR therapy are also discussed. The advantages of VR therapy are summarized in terms of training and learning, and the application cases in the medical field are analyzed. In the end, the paper summarizes the whole paper, and the related research content has certain reference value for the future development of this field.
