Cost Optimization Model for Cloud Using Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

In the present era of computing, communication, and technology, service-oriented computing provides resources on rent basis. The optimization of cost is a major concern in the cloud computing environment. Service providers provide the resources as a service using pricing model. The utilization cost of the cloud resources can be further improved using intelligent approaches. The intelligent approaches include machine learning, artificial intelligence approaches, and integration of the optimizers with intelligent approaches. This book chapter presents a detailed review of the intelligent approaches and proposes a framework for cost optimization in cloud computing scenarios including real and virtual cloud scenarios.
