In this study, the spatial deployment challenges of multi-UAV base stations in regions heavily affected by natural disasters are investigated, with the primary objective of maximizing user coverage while ensuring minimum communication quality for affected populations. Initially, a system model is established based on the probabilistic line-of-sight link model, illustrating how multi-UAV base stations deliver communication services to affected users in disaster scenarios, with an emphasis on maximizing user coverage rate. Subsequently, a hybrid optimization algorithm incorporating Tent chaotic mapping and refinements in nonlinear convergence factors is proposed to address the optimization problem. Experimental findings demonstrate that the proposed enhanced grey wolf optimization algorithm surpasses the standard grey wolf optimization algorithm by effectively capturing global information, thereby averting local optima and demonstrating superior convergence speed and solution accuracy.
