Controlling Exposure for Camera-less Photography

The basic parameters are outlined for determining exposure times for camera-less pictures using very-low sensitivity photographic processes. Factors affecting exposure times with sunlight are reviewed, including the weather, the angle of incidence of the sunlight, the Sun’s zenith angle, the Earth–Sun distance, the location on Earth, and the time of year. The advantages and disadvantages of printing with artificial light is discussed.
