The humans and the machines do not understand each others language, even though the machines were invented by the humans. To bridge this gap, a compiler becomes a necessity as it translate the high-level language to machine understandable binary/machine language and viceversa. There are various types of compilers available in the market, both online and offline, which makes it difficult to choose the best compiler according to our need and affordability. In this paper, we are going to see the various features on which we can compare the performance of the online and the offline compilers on various grounds and choose according to our interests.
