Comparative study of remote sensing image dehaze algorithm

In the particular environment conditions, such as haze and smoke, the quality of aerospace remote sensing images obtained can be reduced to varying degrees, affecting their subsequent usage. Currently, image dehazing algorithms are primarily categorized into three major types: image enhancement-based dehazing, image restoration-based dehazing, and deep learning-based algorithms. This article analyzes the dehazing principles, effects, advantages, and disadvantages of these three major types of remote sensing image dehazing algorithms, and also looks ahead to the future development directions of this research field.
