Full adder circuits play a crucial role in performing arithmetic calculations. Both half adders and full adders serve as fundamental components in arithmetic circuits. Quantum-dot cellular automaton (QCA) technology, based on geometric symmetry within quantum dots, offers a groundbreaking nanotechnology that enables high-performance computation with minimal heat dissipation. This research paper focuses on harnessing the benefits of logical computations and QCA technology by introducing QCA designs for both half adder and full adder circuits. Additionally, an XOR gate QCA design is proposed. Furthermore, the QCA design for the full adder circuit is utilized to construct Ripple Carry Adders (RCA) of various sizes, including 4-bit, 8-bit, and 16-bit configurations. Through comparative analysis with alternative designs, the proposed QCA designs demonstrate superior efficiency in terms of cell count, construction area, number of majority gates, wire crossing, and clock cycle latency.
