This paper explores the mitigation measures in memory access bottlenecks in high-performance computing. To build the high-performance computing architecture, compute servers tend to be put together through the structure, which is networked to the data storage to help capture the output. Due to high need for data storage, memories tend to be a critical challenge affecting the sector in high-performance computing. These challenges include insufficient RAM, cache coherence, and out-of-memory. Mitigation measures identified include memory management, process reassessment, and cache optimization. A case study involving ethical hackers and system administrators shows the practical implication of the mitigation measures of memory access bottlenecks in high-performance computing.
