XML serves as a widely adopted data representation format facilitating communication between systems. Despite its prevalence, XML is known for its verbosity and processing complexity. An effective alternative to traditional XML is the Extensible Interchange (EXI) technique, which has demonstrated a substantial reduction in verbosity and processing overhead. EXI achieves superior data compression compared to other techniques like Fastinfoset, BGip2, Gzip, 7Zip, leading to increased potential bandwidth capacity, particularly evident in the Cloud services XML domain where EXI has demonstrated a nearly double of bandwidth throughput. This improvement preserves the intrinsic advantages of XML while allowing for greater network penetration. Given its ability to compress data and improve bandwidth through smaller file sizes, coupled with the widespread use of XML in the IT environment, EXI emerges as a compelling option. The present study is focused on rapidly collecting data in close proximity, aiming to develop a swift and streamlined XML solution using the EXI mechanism. The research underscores the goal of leveraging the EXI mechanism to construct an agile and spaceefficient XML solution. A comparative analysis of various XML compression methods concludes that EXI is the preferred choice due to its compact nature.
