PROTECTION OF PERSONAL IMMORTAL AND PROPERTY COPYRIGHTS ON WORKS IN THE AUDIOVISUAL ARTS AND PRODUCTION IN RETROSPECT: HISTORICAL AND LEGAL ASPECT

This article explores the protection of works in the field of audiovisual art and pro-duction, including its historical and legal aspects. The evolution of legislation is examined in detail, starting from the early stages of the development of human creativity, and ending with modern trends in legal regulation in the media sphere. The issues of formation of legal mechanisms in the field of media, including the adoption of international conventions and agreements, as well as national laws and regulations, have been studied. So, this article ex-amines the problem of protecting works in audiovisual art and production from a historical and legal aspect. The key stages in the development of legislation are considered, from the origins of the phenomenon of intellectual property protection to modern mechanisms for copyright protection. The current challenges faced by legislators and creators in the media sphere, as well as ways to solve these problems, are identified. Both historical and modern legal mechanisms for protecting copyright in audiovisual works in international and do-mestic lawmaking are described. National and international judicial practices in the protec-tion of audiovisual works in retrospect and in modern times are considered. Thanks to an integrated approach, the article creates the basis for further research in the field of copyright protection in the field of audiovisual arts and production. Overall, this study contributes to the understanding of the historical context and contemporary chal-lenges in the legal protection of audiovisual works.
