Abstract Tracking the movement and changes in the position of the human skeleton is a key element of algorithms for describing human pose. Detection of changes in the position of the skeleton allows one to obtain a lot of important information for orthopedic problems. This article proposes an algorithm for automatic estimation of walking motion on the basis of the reconstruction of the human skeleton and determination of the harmonic component of walking.
