Distributed Measurement Systems
Josef Vedral · River Publishers eBooks · 2024
In contrast to measuring systems consisting of stand-alone and modular measuring systems, distributed measuring systems are intended for the collection and processing of measured data not only in extensive research, development, and testing laboratories but especially in industrial areas with a high intensity of interference. These systems therefore require the effective elimination of not only DC and AC interfering signals but also error-free data transmission even over long distances to the central acquisition unit CAU (central acquisition unit), which can be not only an industrially resistant computer but also a single-purpose computing system.
