Unlike offline shopping, users can barely rely on pictures and text information to gain limited knowledge of products. Therefore, user evaluation, also known as electronic word-of-mouth, plays a crucial role. However, in the face of massive evaluation information, consumers cannot obtain valuable information in a short time to make consumption decisions quickly. Taking lotus root product reviews as an example, this paper analyzes the theme of comment texts based on the LDA model, and obtains 6 topic classifications for agricultural product related comments. Based on the analysis of the central words, it is found that consumers' attention to agricultural products is primarily highlight taste, quality, freshness, price, service, logistics, etc. The impact of these themes on consumer decision-making was analyzed, and ideas were provided for the sales strategy and focus of merchants.
