Abstract I simplify and note extensions of results of Shibu et al. Sankhy $$\overline{a}$$ a ¯ , Ser. A85 (2023a,b) concerning integral representations involving the probability generating function for inverse moments of positive discrete random variables, both univariate and multivariate.
