Regional remote intelligent patrol system and AI application algorithm for community security

Community safety management plays a crucial role in urban management, and with the rapid development of AI technology, the role of intelligent safety monitoring system in community safety management becomes more and more prominent. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a community-oriented area-based remote intelligent patrol system and focus on the application of YOLOv8 algorithm in it. The system utilizes hardware devices such as drones, inspection robots, and cameras, combined with the YOLOv8 algorithm, to realize all-round monitoring and alarm response to the security conditions that can be generated in different areas of the community. The establishment of the system can provide a new technical idea and solution for community security management, and is expected to provide effective support for building a safe and harmonious community environment.
