Decentralized voltage regulation by self-organizing controllers network
Alfredo Vaccaro · 2024
The power system decarbonization programs, the modern environmental policies, and the large-scale development of the deregulated energy markets serve as catalysts for the extensive implementation of smart grid technologies. This emerging paradigm could hold a strategic position in propelling the transformation of conventional power grids into active, adaptable, and self-healing energy networks interlinking distributed and cooperative energy resources [1-3].Advancements in smart grid research have the potential to amplify the efficiency of modern electrical power systems by bolstering the widespread integration of small-scale distributed generation systems, facilitating the exploitation of renewable energy sources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and enhancing the dependability of electricity delivery to consumers.
