Ubiquitous computing integrates computational capabilities into everyday objects and devices to allow information linkage through the network. This allows the interconnected devices to communicate with each other to assist in achieving a task without much human effort. Such an idea allows the revolutionisation of the education sector, where students are given the privilege to access information at their fingertips through the help of various technologies such as smart devices. Ubiquitous computing enhances learning experiences and empowers educators to provide better education by completely transforming traditional teaching methods. This research paper aims to find ways in which universal computing impacts education and how such impacts can enhance Malaysia's economic competitiveness by analysing the advantages and disadvantages of the effects.
