Machine Learning Methods and Other Methods for Detecting Network Threats to IoT Devices

Since the 21st century, the Internet of Things has been covering every year more and more areas of everyday human life and production, and has a significant impact on the economy. Thus, there is a constant growth not only of different types of devices, but also of companies supplying them. This allows us to talk about the differences in software, including security. Due to such a number of differences, the question of creating a unified security system for Internet devices remains open. This article examines current research and approaches to solving this problem, especially machine learning methods. The most popular methods are used for binary classification of network attacks.
