An Effective Cluster Routing Protocol in a Wireless Sensor Network using Fuzzy Logic

Debashish Pal, Harshit Manepalli, Paluru Himaja, Kalla Bhumika Devi · 2024

This research presents an effort to minimize the energy consumption of sensor nodes inside a wireless sensor network (WSN). Cluster-based routing is one result of extensive research on the issue of node energy conservation. Fuzzy logic is used in this work to pick cluster heads (CHs). The design's simulation results are further contrasted, taking into account the number of rounds required for the first node to go down and the network lifetime, with other well-known protocols in this cate-gory. The effectiveness of the suggested design is demonstrated by this comparison, which may spark additional interest in the creation of more effective procedures.
