Teaching Management Systems in Virtual Reality Technology

Hongshan Liu · 2024

Virtual Reality (VR) technology is an environment of computer-generated simulation that enables users to interact with artificial 3-dimensional or other environments. It increases the system of teaching management by engaging them in realistic simulations of managerial situations. However, VR technology's adoption rates for teaching cannot be described in higher education institutions. Therefore, the teaching management system in VR laboratory technology is analyzed in higher education institutions. An analysis is established on the design, teaching adaptation rates, and experience of students over 5 teaching periods. In this period, 4934 students are trained in a lab across 8024 student visits. The lab is utilized by 55% of Engineering faculty 55%, 24.9% of Arts & social science faculty, and 25% of science faculty. The study units for Engineering employ the lab indicated by 1.45% of annual subject faculty offered. It confirms that adoption is in the first stage of innovation diffusion. The lab has a 260% enhancement in student numbers in the analysis period and 71.6% of students reported improved learning results.
