A Novel Chromatic Series Based Light Weight Cryptocipher with Cryptanalysis

Sk. Jasmine, Ch. Rupa, R. Srikavya · 2024

In the realm of cybersecurity, the development of robust encryption algorithms is paramount to safeguard sensitive data against unauthorized access and malicious attacks. Financial institutions are actively seeking ways to safeguard sensitive financial information amidst the evolving digital landscape. By mitigating risks and enhancing their defences, they aim to uphold the trust and confidence of both customers and stakeholders. Unlike conventional encryption techniques that rely solely on numerical values, this system capitalizes on the rich diversity and complexity offered by color representations. The proposed color-based encryption system utilizes a randomly generated 10x10 chromatic key successfully encrypts plain text into complex cipher text. The vast key space offered by the chromatic representation significantly enhances the resistance against brute-force attacks. The introduction of color contributes to the diversification of encryption methodologies, offering a fresh perspective on data protection strategies. With its innovative approach and robust security features, it has the potential to address emerging security challenges and fortify the confidentiality of sensitive information in various domains.
