Redesigned Cloud Service Migration Techniques for Improved Portability

Abhay Kumar, Divya Boreda, Santosh Kumar Vishwakarma · 2024

Cloud computing has transformed IT resource management. Businesses benefit from cloud computing's agility, scalability, and cost reductions. Mobile cloud services are essential in the age of rapidly growing hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures. The complete strategy described in this article may improve cloud service transfer efficiency and portability across cloud platforms. An approach combining three algorithms is proposed. These algorithms include the Automated Migration Planner, Dependency Analysis, and Portability Score. The main component is the DAA. This research examines cloud service dependencies. Data Analytics and Assessment (DAA) finds service-data interdependencies via connections and complexity. PSA evaluates dependence and vendor lock-in to determine service portability. The Portability Score Algorithm helped enterprises make better decisions by accurately assessing service portability. This was done by giving businesses accurate service ratings. The Automated Transfer Planner cut migration expenses, outages, and hours. This was done by developing realistic and well-engineered transfer tactics. This research advances cloud computing by providing improved tools to enterprises to move between cloud services, avoid provider lock-in, and improve multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies. This study is vital to cloud computing.
