Criminal identification has evolved significantly in recent years, with profile-based methodologies providing a comprehensive approach to suspect recognition. This research investigates the realm of profile-based criminal identification, exploring features such as facial recognition, fingerprint analysis, tattoos, and biological markers. With a main Partial Face Recognition focus on improving the accuracy and efficiency of identification, the study employs Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and partial face recognition techniques. The research paves the way for the development of a Profile-Based Criminal Identification system, leveraging advanced technologies to advance law enforcement capabilities. According to the analysis results gained from interviews and questionnaires conducted with the target audience, 76.3% acknowledged that they heard about the partial face recognition concept and more than 50% of participants were willing to use the partial face recognition system to speed up the process of criminal identification and to improve the accuracy of those investigations.
