Transfersomes are novel carriers for enhancing the effectiveness of drugs by topical and transdermal routes.Skin is the most appropriate route for drug administration because of convenience, diminished first-pass metabolism, and reduced side effects.As a result, this carrier system is a comprehensive approach to addressing all of the issues associated with drug administration via topical or transdermal routes.It possesses high activity because of the addition of an edge activator that enhances the elasticity for better permeation.This review will assimilate complete knowledge about composition, structure, different methods, and the complete research conducted so far on the use of transfersomes for escalating the effectiveness of drugs.
