Age and Gender Prediction using Deep Learning Framework

Gender and age prediction are two important tasks in diverse fields like marketing, medical care, and security. In the last couple of years, with the advent of DL (framework) and computer vision techniques, these tasks have been tackled with high accuracy using facial image data. The prediction of gender and age from facial images has various applications, such as targeted advertising, personalized medical treatment, and biometric identification. In this research paper, the latest techniques employed for age and gender detection is being scrutinized and discussed the challenges and limitations in this field. The exploration of ethical considerations surrounding the use of facial image data for gender and age estimation and highlight the need for responsible and transparent use of these technologies is done. Finally, the discussion of potential future directions for research in this area is being done by us, such as incorporating multimodal data and addressing issues related to data bias and privacy.Our review aims to provide insights into the current state of research on gender and age prediction and to guide future research in this field.
