Blockchain technology has been gaining traction in various industries as a secure and decentralized means of storing and sharing data. Blockchain technology can completely change how stem cell records are exchanged and kept in the stem cell research community. In this study, we suggest a stem cell data storage and sharing system based on blockchain technology that protects the data’s confidentiality and privacy while allowing for authorized access and sharing. In the proposed system, each record of a stem cell is represented by a transaction and is stored on a permissioned blockchain network. Digital signatures and smart contracts are used to limit access to the documents, allowing the safe and permitted exchange of the records among authorized parties. Simulated evaluations of the proposed approach reveal that it is safe, effective, and scalable. Overall, our work demonstrates the potential of blockchain technology to improve the preservation and sharing of stem cell information in the stem cell research sector.
