The Internet of Things (IoT) and Software Defined Networks (SDN) are growing in popularity due to major application possibilities in various communication-related applications. IoT’s major objective is to connect electronic devices over the Internet, whereas SDN simplifies network configuration for network administration by separating the control layer from the data layer. Because there are so many electronic gadgets connected to the Internet, managing and controlling them is difficult, especially given the vast scattered network. Through The SDN, IoT networks may be flexible and programmable without posing problems for the already established network architecture. It has lately come to light that the IoT and SDN technologies are becoming more and more well-known. IoT’s main goal is to link electronic gadgets to the Internet, whereas SDN separates the control layer from the data layer to make network setup easier for network administration. It is challenging to manage and regulate all electronic devices linked to the Internet, especially considering how widely dispersed the network is. IoT networks may be relatively programmable and adaptable using the SDN without creating issues for the already established network architecture.
