ILEACH Based on Bio Inspired Approach to Improve Lifetime for WSN Assisted IoT Network

The Internet of Things links several capabilities in a broad sensing domain, including sensing, communication, networking, or cloud computing. WSNs are the most appropriate infrastructure for IoT apps to analyze the network. These networks suffer from drawbacks of excessive energy consumption. Energy-efficient clustering algorithms are created with the aim of improving the lifetime of sensor nodes used for sensing. This research paper analyzes clustering protocols namely LEACH along with bio inspired Ant colony optimization and Firefly Optimization and discusses their performance in detail. They have been simulated in MATLAB and their performance was examined following which BI-LEACH was found to be better among the all regarding network lifetime and throughput.
