The bearing-crossing localization technique of passive radar has been widely used in modern electronic warfare. However, when the passive radar locates multiple interference sources, a large number of false points will be generated. The traditional false points eliminating methods exist the problems of low positioning accuracy and high computational complexity. In order to eliminate false points more effectively and ensure the tracking performance of passive radar to interference sources, a false points eliminating method for passive radar cross location based on Hough transform is proposed in this paper, which combines the advantages of angle correlation method and Hough transform method to eliminate false points. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed false points eliminating method. Compared with the traditional false points eliminating methods, the proposed method not only presents higher positioning accuracy for interference sources, but also can effectively reduce the computational complexity of the algorithm.
