The Internet of Things (IoT) poses serious security risks and issues due to its growing number of linked devices. This paper conducts a comparative analysis of various security-focused Blockchain-based architectures, exploring their potential to optimize security in IoT applications. This study investigates how various designs handle security concerns and trade-offs, such as integration problems, privacy, and scalability, by analyzing and comparing essential key features. This work tries to determine the best approaches for optimizing security in particular IoT applications by assessing how various designs handle different security threats. The analysis provides insights into the suitability of different Blockchain architectures for specific IoT security needs and contributes to the ongoing development of secure and trustworthy IoT ecosystems.
