A Dynamic Access Control Method Based on User Behavior Trust Evaluation in Edge Cloud Environment

Edge cloud storage is a novel data storage technology that enjoys numerous advantages. However, its access control is required to have higher adaptability and accuracy due to its massive user access and the diversity and randomness of user behavior. The current methods, mostly based on traditional access control model extensions or machine learning ideas, have problems such as model adaptability or insufficient data reliability. Thus, they struggle to meet the requirements of access control in edge cloud environments. To address these issues, this paper proposes a dynamic access control method based on user behavior trust evaluation. This method combines the ideas of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) to establish a multi-dimensional user trust evaluation model. It evaluates the user's access behavior and environment, and dynamically adjusts the user's permissions based on the results, achieving dynamic access control. Experiments have demonstrated that this method not only ensures the authenticity and reliability of data, but also exhibits higher adaptability, accuracy, and security compared to traditional access control methods.
