Falls are also among the primary factor of medical problems suffered by the elderly. Older adults tend to be seriously hurt by falling to the ground often, especially when they live alone. In the event of a falling event, urgent treatment help is required to minimize the risk of serious injuries resulting in death. The project proposed an excellent and reliable fall detection algorithm to prevent falls and alert relatives to assistance and support. Accelerometer and gyroscope are encoded in a mobile phone to make the result more accurate. Body posture is derived from acceleration changes in three measured axes using a six-axis detector (MPU6050). The sensor measures the human psyche’s activities, recognizes the decline in regular activities through a practical algorithm, and automatically sends some help via Short Message Service (SMS) to the caregivers at the patient’s destination. Message sent using Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), and through it, the fall can be traced accidentally in a home health care environment with monitoring acceleration. Besides, this usable device requires fewer implementation costs by providing a fast response. The sensitivity and specificity of fall 93.33% and 86.67% tracking systems, respectively.
