This paper takes the textbook “Face Beauty Technology” published by Fudan University as an example, introduce an innovative workflow of how to implement augmented reality (AR) environment in textbook compilation. The technical aspects mainly include 3D modeling techniques and augmented reality (AR) scene design. First step is to utilize computer software like Blender and Nomad for 3D modeling and animation creation. Second step involves using Kivicube software to create AR environment and set up recognition images for textbook illustration. The development process and function maintenance of this workflow are both highly convenient, lower entry barriers. Not only minimize the reliance on software and hardware devices, but also enhance users’ immersive experience. Students can scan the recognition image from textbook with their mobile phones/tablets to display the AR scenario, presenting virtual models and animations intangible environment, offers students a more intuitive, vivid, and interactive learning experience, assist medical students understand the complex geometry in anatomy learning, achieve a more comprehensive and effective results.
