Image Preprocessing of Iris Identification

The goal of this research is to provide techniques for iris identification image preprocessing, such as image improvement and detection of boundaries. Iris identification is commonly regarded as most suitable method of identification. Due to variety of problems, iris systems are not widely used including production costs, time of processing, and detection rate. The production cost and processing time issues will be solved through improvements in integrated circuit technology. The identification rate difficulty discussed here is not about the iris itself, but about acquiring the iris superiority image. The superiority of an iris image has evolved as an important component of the current iris technology.
