This code accomplishes two goals. First, it reads all of the "sample" and "forecast" files produced by the BRSS algorithm, as well as cces08reformattedFine.dta. It uses these to generate measures of the mean and variance of state ideology, as captured by kriging. In addition to outputting the forecasts, the code generates tables and figures summarizing the model's results. Second, the code creates correlation coefficients, and scatterplots to assess the face validity of the measures.
