An Experimental Study of an Intelligent and Dynamic Network Anomaly Detection System

Pritika Mehra, Mini Singh Ahuja · 2024

The ability to recognize or perceive abnormal behavior can have relatively benign implications in various industries. Identification of unusual incidents and implementation of a pre-determined response can enable businesses to save time, money, and clients. Anomaly detection aids in determining the underlying cause of problems that arise as a result of effects or events that deviate from their intended behavior. An intelligent and dynamic Network Anomaly Detection System (NADS) was the central focus of the experimental investigation presented in this article. With the increasing sophistication of cyber threats, traditional static anomaly detection approaches have proven insufficient in identifying evolving network anomalies. In response, this research introduces a novel system that leverages intelligent techniques and dynamic adaptability to enhance anomaly detection accuracy.
