In 5G and 6G systems, Bit Error Rate (BER) is a critical performance metric for evaluating the dependability and data transmission quality of communication networks. In order to lower BER values, particularly in challenging channel conditions, 5G and 6G systems employ advanced algorithms. These systems commonly employ error-correcting codes like Turbo codes, Polar codes, or LDPC (Low-Density Parity-Check) codes. These next-generation wireless networks can only meet their stringent BER criteria with the aid of adaptive modulation and coding, and Massive Input & Massive Output (MIMO) techniques. In this paper, the bit error rates for various error correction codes, including BCH (Bose Chaudhuri Hocquenghem),Reed Solmon (RS) Codes LDPC, Turbo, and Polar Codes, have been compared. The entire simulation is carried out using MATLAB.
