The Internet of Things (IoT) has created a world of limitless opportunities for applications across many facets of society, but it also comes with a number of difficulties. Security and privacy are two such issues. The IoT has grown significantly in importance and concern recently, and as a result, especially with the broad use and acceptance of projects and applications of the IoT in several fields, concern about IoT security has also expanded significantly. IoT devices are more vulnerable to attacks and security issues. There is a dearth of suitable security solutions for devices and applications of the IoT because of their limitations, including those related to space, power, memory, etc. The manufacturers are still unable to come up with a suitable fix, despite the fact that there are several vulnerabilities. This paper provides a landscape overview of IoT security with the goal of highlighting the demand for secure IoT-related products and applications.
