A Comprehensive Review on Blockchain: Types, Techniques, Consensus Algorithms and Platforms

In WSN, during the process of localization various attacks could be performed, as a malicious node can send the wrong detail in the network related to the coordinates of the anchor node, and other nodes during the calculation of localization will use that detail, because they are not aware that we are using the malicious node’s data, which will lead to the wrong position calculation. So, to solve this problem, we can use different approaches related to cryptography such as digital signature. But these increase the complexity, computation level. So, we can use the blockchain in the network to solve the problem of security, and when the interference of the malicious node is not there during the localization, it will also increase the accuracy. So, in this paper, we are understanding the basic architecture of blockchain, types, consensus algorithm and platforms, and later on, we will use this study to design a new localization algorithm with blockchain.
