Performance and Compliance Anomaly Detection

Anomaly detection is an important and challenging problem in various domains. The goal is to identify events or data points that deviate significantly from expected behavior. In this paper, we provide a summary of the basic concepts of anomaly detection. We also discuss some anomaly detection use cases and their unique challenges. We describe how to handle these challenges to provide a helpful introduction to anomaly detection for those new to the field and a refresher for those with more experience.
