Digital identity management faces challenges with centralized and federated systems, risking large-scale data breaches and privacy violations. In response, this article presents the Sign-Up Wallet, a novel approach to digital identity management integrating blockchain and machine learning. The self-sovereign identity model leverages blockchain technology, eliminating the need for trusted third parties. Users store their digital identity in the Sign Up Wallet with cryptographic keys, enhancing security and control. During registration, a Unique Personal Identifier (UPI) Code ensures secure credential verification. Machine learning, specifically Logistic Regression, is employed to assess the trustworthiness of service providers, enabling users to make informed choices. In cases of untrusted providers, a Lookup Substitution Algorithm generates masked credentials, preserving user privacy during verification. The primary goal is to empower individuals with greater control over their digital identities, mitigating risks associated with centralized authorities and enhancing overall digital security.
