In the era of rapid technological advancements, the sharing and exchange of data has become increasingly prevalent. However, the challenges of effectively managing and sharing large volumes of data has increased. Existing methods for sharing files frequently rely on centralized servers, which can be subject to data loss, censorship, and hacking. Furthermore, users of such systems must have faith in the central authority to protect their data, which can be difficult in a time when worries about data privacy and security are on the rise. Systems for peer-to-peer file sharing provide an alternative to centralized ones, but they too have drawbacks, such as stability and scalability concerns. By creating a decentralized file sharing system based on interplanetary file system (IPFS) and blockchain technology that is safe, dependable, and scalable, this project seeks to remove these restrictions. To address this issue, in this chapter we present a potential solution in the form of a data sharing platform that incorporates blockchain and IPFS technologies to provide a secure, efficient, and distributed method for sharing files. This platform involves a blockchain alliance that utilizes a consensus mechanism based on computing power to write data to the blockchain, while IPFS is used to store the data via distributed storage, file splitting, and concatenation technologies. Additionally, the platform includes modules such as blockchain, IPFS, encryption/decryption, and quick recovery to facilitate seamless data sharing.
