Ping Hao, Fan Yang · 2023
With extremely low delay and extremely high data transmission speed, 5G network has been widely used at present, and it is of great significance to realize innovation and development in many fields of society. 5G puts forward strict requirements for the bandwidth, delay, slicing and time synchronization accuracy of the bearer network. Aiming at the problem of local optimization of existing information center network (ICN) routing, this article introduces Segment Routing based on IPv6 data plane (SRv6) and proposes SRv6 strategy based on network state and behavior prediction. Through the source routing mechanism of SRv6, the routing table is sent to the source node at one time to avoid intermediate routing and make the network obtain better performance. The simulation results show that paper algorithm can reduce packet loss, delay and system overhead compared with the shortest path algorithm and random path algorithm when the number of requests in the network is increasing. SRv6 can simplify the network and carry out super-large-scale deployment, and will gradually become the network evolution direction in the era of 5G and cloud.
