An Invention Relates to a Design Method of a 10kV Cable Joint Fault On-line Monitoring Device

Based on the risk assessment of fire and explosion failure of power cable joints, this paper designs a set of online monitoring device for faults caused by excessive short circuit load of 10kV cable joints. The device realizes online monitoring of temperature, zero sequence voltage, sheath grounding current, ambient temperature and humidity of the cable joints. All kinds of potential faults and fire risks of power cable joints are intelligently diagnosed, which realize all-round monitoring of the safe operation of power cables.
