The Conscious Architecture for State Exploitation (CASE) is a general-purpose architecture designed to mimic key characteristics of human information processing and decision-making. Specifically, CASE provides a framework for the implementation of various artificial intelligences (AI) methods in its decision-making. This paper presents an approach for the implementation of the CASE architecture on a robotic platform to predict human intent in a workplace environment where intent is defined as the prediction of the human heading and direction. This application of CASE provides robotic platforms the capability to operate in tandem with humans in a workplace environment.
