Key Management Protocol for Distributed Sensor Nodes

Vishal, Seema Kumari, Amandeep Amandeep, Satwinder, Ravinder · 2024

The safety of data and network communications between sensor network nodes should be the main priorities of broad-spectrum security for wireless sensor networks. With regard to wireless sensor networks, environment and purpose usually affect security. Privacy, reliability, and validity are the three fundamental problems with data security. The use of traditional encryption algorithms on sensor nodes with limited resources is not recommended. In contrast to base station or key distribution center-initiated key management, node-initiated key management is a different idea. For the security of communication nodes in a sensor network, we can delegate control to sensor nodes or the cluster head. It is a more reliable non-centralized key management method than other ways. This study makes a proactive key management proposal that ensures effectiveness, reliability, and dynamic key creation.
