The proliferation of counterfeit products poses a significant threat to consumer safety, brand reputation, and economic stability.To combat this problem, a Fake Product Detection System (FPDS) has been developed leveraging blockchain technology.FPDS offers a secure and transparent solution for product authentication throughout the supply chain and at the point of sale This system employs blockchains inherent features, such as immutability, decentralization, and transparency, to record and verify the authenticity of product.The core concept of this project is to enhance counterfeit product detection by tracing their supply chain history.This objective is achieved through the utilization of Blockchain technology, which ensures the identification and traceability of authentic products throughout the supply chain.By decentralizing the system, Blockchain enables multiple parties to access the information simultaneously.A key advantage of Blockchain is its immutability; once data is recorded, it is challenging to alter without the consensus of all concerned parties, thereby enhancing data security and protection against vulnerabilities.
