MRI images are an important type of medical image for better understanding of body tissues and organs. Accurate and timely diagnosis of MRI images is crucial for proper and effective treatment of patients. This leads to the necessity of development of automated systems, ushering in the need for processes such as pre-processing, segmentation, and classification, which can be applied to MRI images. This chapter presents the deep learning techniques used in analysis and processing of MRI images.
